This one day workshop will help your teenager to learn the skills of planning and writing short stories.
Join Hayley Solich, former Editor of four Australian magazines, Pearls Women’s Magazine, Finally at 40 Life Begins Magazine, Golden Pen Magazine and Golden Pen for Christian Women Magazine, a blogger (Fat Girls Can Dance Blog) and an Author Coach through her business, The Creaticians.
Hayley is a published author with several titles to her credit and has helped many authors to publish their first book.
Hayley brings to the table her over 10 years in publishing and training, including TAFE Lecturing and delivering training to High School aged students; her professional performing arts background; her current experience as the mum of four teenagers/young adults; and her well-honed creative communication skills.
Guaranteed not to be boring, with more plot twists than a JK Rowlings novel!
This course will inspire your young person to embrace their inner creative imagination and author, creating interesting plots, developing characters and exploring the possibilities available through the written word.
Investment: $50.00 per participant.
Included: Paper, pens, internet access, and a wealth of knowledge and creativity!
Participants to bring: Laptop or other device, if available, for research and typing purposes.
Can be used as a Creative Writing activity for your English curriculum, as I will pitch it to the level of the students that enroll and make sure that you get sufficient evidence to take home.
Book now to avoid disappointment. Maximum of 10 participants.
(If there is a great enough demand I will run a second workshop on the following Tuesday).
